  It is such a charming place, you can't beat the view from the patio! The food is good, we tried the Mushroom pizza, Moroccan lamb, veal parmigiana, and catch of the day. It was all very good, but non of it was amazing. So I don't think the very high prices are quite justified. If I want to pay that much there are a handful of places in Toronto I would rather go... but you can't beat the view!

  We had one issue, we ordered the exact same meal... and the portion size was not even close to the same. It was 1/2 in size. They were excellent at accommodating a new plate. At $30 a plate, its only right to provide the same quality and quantity.

  Very good food, just a little pricey...however it is well worth it for the view (Lake Ontario)! We've been there several times and I almost always get the special of the day. I've never been disappointed. Great date, anniversary or mother's day spot.

  Very nice space. Good amount of parking. Excellent servers. I took off a point because this restaurant used to be casual fine dining (granted like a decade ago) and when I went most recently it was definitely more casual. Menu was burgers and thin crust pizzas rather than pastas and meat dishes. Presentation was also nice but unimaginative. Good food but not Mediterranean. I would go for The Stone House over The Lake House at the moment.

  Absolutely amazing food and service from Leah was fantastic. Atmosphere was quiet and dining room was clean and well renovated. Only down side was other guests in jeans. Go to Montana's if you don't want to put any effort in your dining experience wordrobe. Staff was so professional.
